The screen displays the maximum allocation for Specialty investments, using the investor profile and advanced profile information. However, the allocation should be viewed as the absolute maximum, and not as the amount that should be invested in Specialty investments.
To review the profile information used to determine the recommended maximum Specialty investments refer to the guidelines for:
Allocate at least $1000 for each core sector
Allocate at least $500 for each specialty sector
There is no maximum allocation guideline for core sectors
Since Specialty investments are generally more volatile than core allocate no more than 10% of the total portfolio to any one Specialty sector. We consider exposure of more than 10% to any single Specialty sector not prudent.
